We are inviting you to an event which is young at heart, yet more mature and, in our opinion, fuller than the previous editions. We have always been fans of road less travelled and following such a direction often required risky decision- making.

Despite of, or perhaps because of this, we sincerely hope we have managed to guide you to the magical world of mountains, to the very summit offering a breathtaking vista.

As our late friend, Piotr Morawski, used to say: “Life is not measured with the number of breaths, but with number of moments which take our breath away. One lives exactly for this.”

Let’s, during those four days of September, head into the beckoning range of Zakopane’s 7th Mountain Film Festival, let’s reach peaks of cinematic emotions, let’s rest in the shady valleys of Zakopane’s pubs, let’s enjoy meeting wandering souls, but let’s also appreciate silence which enables us to listen to our inner voices.

Many excellent guests are awaiting us during 7th Mountain Film Festival, the unquestionable stars of international climbing among them: Alain Robert and Joe Simpson. Let’s hear the call of freedom in lively rhythms of music played by local musicians and let’s admire the stark force of the titans of overhanging walls. Let’s allow to get carried by the unknown. For who knows what awaits us behind the horizon?
